Drug and Alcohol Education for Parents
Your Subtitle text

BE INVOLVED IN YOUR TEEN'S LIFE!

The adolescent years are a time of rapid change. Time spent with parents is now time spent with friends. Experimenting with drugs or alcohol can be a way of fitting in with new friends. Research shows that parent-adolescent relationships serve as an adaptive and protective function by providing a secure base for adolescents [1]
Make the effort to know your children's friends and their parents. Every parent should keep their eyes and ears open to the possibility of drug and alcohol use. This website is designed to educate parents on the signs and symptoms of substance abuse in their teens. The website offers information ranging from prevention strategies to treatment options.
